PURPOSE:
Ensure compliance risks relating to data privacy, data governance and regulatory developments are effectively identified, assessed and managed in accordance with applicable laws, Group standards, and the Company's risk appetite. Act as a key liaison with Group Compliance and Group offices on relevant topics.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Perform corporate compliance monitoring reviews and risk assessments, with focus on data privacy, data governance and other compliance areas.
• Lead or support the development and enhancement of policies, procedures and guidelines relating to data privacy, regulatory compliance and control frameworks.
• Identify, assess and escalate compliance risks and control gaps in assigned projects and business activities.
• Provide practical advisory and guidance to the 1st line to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards.
• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations, with timely recommendations for implementation.
• Prepare and deliver compliance reports (monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc) with clear insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Group Compliance and regional teams on relevant compliance, privacy and regulatory topics.
• Other tasks as assigned by Line Managers.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• 5-8 years of experience in compliance, legal, data privacy or regulatory roles (insurance/financial services preferred).
• Solid understanding of data protection, cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks in Vietnam exposure to regional/global standards is a plus.
• Proven ability to analyze regulations and translate into practical implementation within business and operations.
• Experience in compliance monitoring, risk assessment or advisory roles.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and faciliate the 1st line effectively.
• Experience working with regional/Group teams is preferred.
• Insurance, audit or regulatory background is an advantage.

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Fluent in English (strong ability to work with Group and regional stakeholders).
• Solid understanding of data privacy, data protection regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret regulations and translate into practical actions.
• Good experience in compliance monitoring, risk assessment and advisory.
• Strong presentation and reporting skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
