Assistant Manager Finance & Accounting

The Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting develops necessary procedures and documents to perform

internal control to ensure accounting transactions and business transactions complying with related regulations,

financial and accounting standards and company's management rules. He/She also involves assisting with

budgeting & forecasting, manage monthly closing, tax compliance as well as preparation of financial statements.

Main Duty And Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly closing and prepare annual financial statements. Perform variance analysis,
  
  

and support management in strategic decision-making.

• Ensure adherence to Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and local tax regulations. Manage
  
  

internal controls, risk management, and regulatory filings to ensure compliance and governance for the

organization.

• Oversee transaction processing, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general
  
  

ledger (GL), and cash flow management.

• Act as primary liaison for internal audit and external audit to ensure proper corporate governance and
  
  

avoid any violation of related regulations.

• Preparation of annual budgets, quarterly financial forecasts and monthly estimate.
• Take ownership of ad-hoc projects and assignments delegated by the Line Manager, contributing to
  
  

department & business objectives

Specific Knowledge, Skills And Experience

• At least 5 years of practical experience in accounting or audit field.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in internal controls, with working knowledge of VAS compliance and tax regulations in Vietnam (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT).
• Chief Accountant Certification is a must.
• Experience in preparing and presenting P&L analysis to management or relevant stakeholders.
• Experience in business partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to support financial decision making.
• High attention to detail with a structured, accuracy-driven approach.
• Proficiency in accounting software & MS Excel.
• Proficient in English language, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
