About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Commercial to drive customer acquisition and sustainable revenue growth for our Living Science business, with a focus on the Home & Personal Care Ingredients market in Southern Vietnam.
Based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will develop new customers and grow them into long-term key accounts while identifying new customer segments, applications and business opportunities.
You will also develop strategic sales plans and structured business plans, working closely with technical, regulatory and supply chain teams to turn customer opportunities into successful commercial outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth by developing new customers and building them into long-term key accounts within the Home & Personal Care Ingredients market, with a strong focus on Southern Vietnam.
- Develop and execute strategic sales and account development plans aligned with overall business objectives to support sustainable market expansion.
- Identify new customer segments, applications and business opportunities by proactively analysing market needs and industry trends.
- Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships by understanding customers technical, commercial and regulatory requirements and positioning Maha as a trusted solution partner.
- Manage sales projects end-to-end, from initial enquiries and technical trials through pricing negotiation and commercial orders.
- Work closely with internal technical, regulatory and supply chain teams to support product trials, project development, accurate forecasting and smooth order execution.
- Monitor market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities, risks and differentiation strategies.
- Prepare and present structured sales plans, account updates, revenue forecasts and market insights to management.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with strong product and technical knowledge.
- Background in technical support, product development or project management.
- Strong business sense and relevant industry expertise.
- Strong commercial negotiation and pricing capability.
- Good technical understanding of Home & Personal Care Ingredients.
- Ability to conduct market analysis, forecasting and strategic planning.
- Effective communication skills when working with customers and regional stakeholders.
- High level of ownership, execution discipline and a growth mindset.
