AR Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Update daily bank receipts and match them with outstanding invoices
• Perform daily bank reconciliation between SAP accounting records and bank statements
• Record bank receipts in both IBOX and SAP, ensuring accurate matching with outstanding invoices
• Communicate with customers via email / telephone regarding payment receipts (i.e. short payments and over payments, as well as payment discrepancies)
• Reconcile bank transactions on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to ensure consistency between bank receipts and accounting system entries
• Check OBL to make sure all payments are collected before releasing
• Check to refund overpay
• Other tasks assigned by AM/Accounting Manager/CFO

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years of experience in similar position (at a logistics/shipping company is a plus)
• Has a degree in Accounting orFinance
• Experience in using SAP
• Proficient in Excel and other data analysis tools is a big plus
• Good communication and English
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Be able to work independently and team work when necessary
• Pay attention to detail and accuracy
• Careful, hardworking, honest, responsible work, able to independently analyze, arrange records
