AR Accountant-Temporary

Job Description

• Ensure timely customer payments and prevent overdue balances.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Daily checking & updating HSBC bank account statements:

Download bank statements

Check payment: Detail of Charge/ BL Number / Customer Name

Update payment in system for document release.

Update payment in accounting system.

Remark and update Shared payment collection file

Update Plugging charge (Net-off with Deposit)

• Deduction/ Adjustment:

Check and send request for deduction/ adjustment

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or with experience in a similar position within a shipping or freight forwarding company.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Foreign Trade, or Export-Import.
• Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills; enthusiastic, open-minded, dynamic, customer-oriented, and a fast learner.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proficient in computers and MS Office applications.
