Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Integrate Vercel AI SDK into web applications, handling authentication, prompt orchestration, and response workflows.
  • Design and implement semantic search features leveraging vector databases (pgVector).
  • Instrument tracing and metrics collection for AI/LLM pipelines using OpenTelemetry or an APM tool.
  • Develop automated evaluation pipelines for prompt engineering experiments and human-in-the-loop assessments.
  • Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to optimize inference performance and implement robust fallback strategies.
Required Skills:
  • Practical experience with Vercel AI SDK and PostgreSQL vector extensions.
  • Solid understanding of distributed tracing and observability for AI workflows.
  • Proven ability in prompt engineering and LLM evaluation frameworks.
Preferred Competencies:
  • Familiarity with agent-based architectures using function-calling patterns.
  • Experience optimizing LLM latency and cost in production environments.
