We are looking for a Senior Accounting Services to join our growing team and take responsibility for delivering high-quality accounting and financial reporting services to our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients.

• Perform account reconciliations, including bank, AR, AP, inventory, revenue, and other balance sheet accounts.

• Review accounting entries and ensure financial statements are accurate and compliant with applicable accounting standards.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Assist with tax compliance and other statutory reporting requirements.

Client Accounting Services

• Manage accounting deliverables for a portfolio of clients and ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.

• Understand clients business models and accounting processes to identify accounting and operational issues.

• Communicate directly with clients to clarify accounting matters, request information, and provide professional recommendations.

• Prepare accounting schedules, working papers, management reports, and other financial analysis as required.

• Identify potential accounting, tax, control, and process risks and escalate issues appropriately.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Review existing accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

• Support the implementation of accounting automation and technology solutions.

• Work with Sliner's technology and product teams to improve workflows, data processes, and accounting systems.

• Support clients in adopting more standardized and technology-enabled accounting processes.

Team & Quality Management

• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide guidance where necessary.

• Support the Manager in managing client deliverables and ensuring service quality.

• Help develop accounting procedures, working papers, templates, and internal knowledge resources.

• Coach and mentor junior team members.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, accounting advisory, or outsourced accounting services.

• Experience working at Big4 or a reputable professional services firm is strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience with month-end closing, account reconciliation, financial statements, and accounting operations.

• Experience serving multiple clients or working in a client-facing environment is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Good communication and client management skills.

• Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.

• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal, are preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in eCommerce, SaaS, technology, or multinational businesses.

• Experience with IFRS, US GAAP, or other international accounting standards.

• Experience with accounting automation, ERP implementation, or finance transformation projects.

• ACCA, CPA, CMA, or other professional accounting qualifications are an advantage.

• Experience working with cloud accounting platforms and financial technology solutions.
