Job Description
- Accounting Manager - Offshore to oversee accounting operation of offshore entities including bookkeeping, financial statements, tax and other related statutory reports.
- Treasury management including management of liquidity and optimize cashflow, safeguarding financial stability and supporting the organization's financial objectives.
- Manage and develop the offshore team, drive process improvement and system initiatives, deliver management reporting and financial analysis, and act as personal assistant to the Finance Director.
MAIN TASKS
- Oversee bookkeeping, financial statements preparation, tax filing and other related statutory reports of offshore-entities.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity and funding of offshore entities through cash flow planning and forecasting, and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
- Review funding needs, monthly reporting of all treasury activities to senior management.
- Analyze and perform appropriate hedging and funding activities (forex, swaps, loans, deposits, etc.).
- Direct internal audit reviews over offshore accounting, treasury and operating processes, and follow up on remediation actions until closure.
- Review management reports and financial analysis of offshore entities, lead financial analysis for assigned projects and support the appraisal of new business investment opportunities.
- Manage and develop the offshore Accounting, Treasury and Financial Analysis teams; allocate workload, evaluate performance and ensure adequate backup for key tasks.
- Drive process improvement, policy development and ERP-related initiatives that impact the Accounting and Finance functions.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance - Accounting
- Require at least 7 years of related experience in Finance – Accounting, Auditing or Banking, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in overseeing accounting operations of multiple legal entities, preferably including overseas entities, is required.
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments.
- Practical experience with an ERP system, as an implementation team member or key user, is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
- Able to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines and work effectively with remote teams across locations.
- A professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent) is an advantage
