Accounting Manager - Based in Mekong Delta Region

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the company's accounting operations, ensure compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards and tax regulations, and maintain accurate financial records.

Description

• Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, inventory, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and applicable regulations.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate tax declarations, including VAT, CIT, PIT, and other statutory filings; coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities when required.
• Cost Accounting: Monitor manufacturing costs, including raw materials, direct labor, and production overhead; analyze cost variances and support inventory valuation.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective accounting procedures, financial controls, and compliance policies to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
• Budgeting & Analysis: Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis to facilitate business decision-making.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of audit findings.
• Team Management: Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with deadlines.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to ensure accurate transaction recording and effective cost management.
  
  

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Valid Chief Accountant Certificate in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.
• At least 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in a manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), Vietnamese tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory control, fixed asset management, and cost variance analysis.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments.
