Profile

The Finance Manager will own the finance operations of the Vietnam entities and take hands-on responsibility for selected regional finance activities across Asia-Pacific. This role leads and reviews the work of country-level Accountants, and partners closely with business leaders and Group Finance to drive financial performance, reporting, controls, planning and process improvements across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

Review and oversee month-end and year-end financial statements, journal entries, accounting schedules and reconciliations prepared by country finance teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group standards;
Own regional financial reporting for assigned Asia-Pacific entities, ensuring timely, accurate and consistent reporting to Group Finance;
Provide regional finance insights and performance and analysis for business planning, strategic decisions and management reviews, and provide actionable insights to management
Partner directly with country finance teams and business leaders to review performance, challenge assumptions and drive financial accountability
Lead regional budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across assigned markets;
Ensure compliance with Group's policy, process and procedures and local regulations across Singapore and relevant regional markets
Lead regional statutory, tax and audit matters, working with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers and other professional advisors
Drive standardisation of accounting policies, finance processes, controls and reporting across regional entities
Lead finance process improvement and transformation initiatives, including system, reporting and automation projects
Support Group Finance on financial controls, risk management and governance across region;

Requirements

Chartered Accountant Qualification (compulsory)
Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related mathematical field
Minimum 10 years of relevant finance experience, or 4 - 5 years of audit experience at managerial role
Strong regional or multi-country finance experience, preferably within a multinational, technology, SaaS or fast-growing business environment
Hands-on experience managing or owning finance activities across multiple entities and countries
Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
Experience working with country finance teams and senior business stakeholders across different markets and cultures
Good understanding of statutory, tax, audit and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions is an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and commercial acumen
Fluent in English, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Independent, meticulous, proactive, and a collaborative team player
