Job Summary
Manage and complete the entire system of accounting records, payroll & statutory insurance, tax reporting, and initial financial-tax advisory for an assigned portfolio of corporate clients. Ensure all data is accurate, timely, and strictly compliant with current Vietnamese laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Client Onboarding & Initial Setup
- Handle initial accounting and tax setup procedures for new clients (including bank accounts, initial tax registration, social insurance setup, electronic invoicing activation, and accounting software configuration).
- Issue and adjust electronic invoices daily based on client requests.
2. Monthly Document Management & Bookkeeping
- Proactively collect and inspect invoices, vouchers, and transaction data from businesses to minimize financial and tax risks.
- Reconcile and verify the validity and reasonableness of input/output invoices and supporting documents against actual business transactions.
- Perform timely and proper bookkeeping entries for all respective accounting periods.
3. Tax Declaration & Compliance Management
- Closely monitor incurred tax obligations: VAT, PIT (Personal Income Tax), CIT (Corporate Income Tax), Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT), License Tax, etc.
- Accurately determine taxes payable, deductible, or refundable.
- Prepare and electronically submit monthly/quarterly tax declarations and other compliance reports (e.g., labor status reports, reports for Foreign Direct Investment - FDI enterprises) accurately and on time.
4. HR, Payroll & Social Insurance
- Process payroll and generate payslips for clients employees.
- Track labor records and execute statutory insurance procedures (registration of increases/decreases for Social, Health, and Unemployment Insurance) and Trade Union fees based on actual developments.
- Provide professional advisory on statutory social insurance matters.
- Register Personal Tax Codes (PTC) for employees and prepare annual PIT finalization dossiers.
5. Financial Statements & Year-End Finalization
- Prepare Financial Statements (FS) and tax finalization returns for CIT and PIT at the end of the fiscal year.
- Organize, finalize storage files, and handover complete accounting books (including both soft copies and hard copies) to clients for archival purposes after the reporting period ends.
6. Tax Auditing, Representation & Strategic Advisory
- Accompany and represent clients in working sessions to directly explain figures to Tax Authorities and Social Insurance Agencies during audits or inspections.
- Conduct tax compliance health checks or preliminary audits for clients to proactively detect potential risks.
- Prepare advisory reports, consult on legitimate cost-optimization solutions, and provide monthly tax risk warnings to business owners.
- Actively research and update legal regulations to advise clients and internal management.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Company.
Job Requirements Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance-related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an equivalent position; preference will be given to candidates with experience in accounting service firms who have managed a multi-client portfolio.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using accounting software, tax tools, and electronic social insurance systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills; high integrity and dedication to the job and clients.
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and organize workload efficiently.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel for business as required by the Company and clients (travel allowance provided).
