Role Description The Academic Head of Graphic & Digital Design is a full-time, on-site role based in Da Nang City, Vietnam. This role oversees academic operations for the Graphic & Digital Design program, including planning, implementing, and reviewing curricula to ensure alignment with international standards and industry needs. Daily responsibilities include managing teaching staff, coordinating class schedules, monitoring student performance, and fostering a high-quality learning environment. The Academic Head collaborates with university leadership on program development, accreditation requirements, and strategic initiatives, while maintaining close ties with industry partners for internships, projects, and guest lectures. The role also involves mentoring faculty, supporting student engagement activities, and continuously improving teaching and assessment methods.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Educational Management and Education, with experience overseeing academic programs or departments.
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development for Graphic & Digital Design or related creative disciplines.
- Effective Communication skills for engaging with faculty, students, and external partners.
- Demonstrated Team Management abilities, including staff mentoring, performance oversight, and collaborative leadership.
- Advanced degree in Design, Fine
Art
- , or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Professional experience in graphic design, digital design, or creative industries, ideally in an international or cross-cultural context.
- Familiarity with contemporary design tools, digital media platforms, and industry trends.
- Ability to work on-site in Da Nang City and contribute to an inclusive, student-centered academic environment.
