- Trader/ Senior Trader, Covered Warrants

The ECD Team is responsible for managing Covered Warrant (CW) positions in accordance with Maybank's Trading Book Policy and approved risk limits. This role oversees the end-to-end Covered Warrants business, including product issuance, market making, pricing, risk management, and trading performance. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Risk, Structuring, and other stakeholders while operating across multiple trading and risk management systems.

I. Key accountabilities

• Accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of the CW business, including day-to-day operations and warrant issuances
• Performing market-making activities to provide continuous liquidity and ensure orderly trading of MSVN issued CW
• Ensure that all CW are priced appropriately before it is quoted on the market
• Establish proprietary trading strategy to best capture profits and minimize losses
• Ensure minimal trade execution errors
• Manage the risk (Greeks) and P/(L) of the CW
• Ensure all positions are accurately updated in the front office system
• Generate profits from the Covered Warrants business
• Established MSVN as a growing CW issuer in Vietnam
• Accurate position to be reflected in front office system
• Trades errors are minimized
• Collaborate with Sales and Structuring to drive new products
• Provide input and pricing on upcoming products from the structuring team
• Facilitate sales team with competitive pricing to drive sales
• Increase market share with various Maybank product offering

II. Requirement

• At least 3-7 years of relevant experience in Securities, Derivatives, or related fields
• Bachelor's degree and above related to: Equity Derivatives, Treasury Derivatives, Marketing, Banking/Finance, Prop Trading, Equity Business, Commodity Derivatives or relevant

Candidates are required to have or are in progress to have:

• Passed CFA Level II
• Securities Practicing Certificate by State Securities Commission of Vietnam (minimum: Financial Analyst Securities Practising Certification)

Candidates must have completed all required regulatory trading certifications.
