Finance Associate based in Vietnam to support our regional finance function.
What You Will Do:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
Manage full set of accounts, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
2. Invoice Compliance & Revenue Control
Ensure invoices are raised only upon receipt of signed Service Acceptance Minutes from the project team.
Verify that all invoices comply with applicable VAT and e-invoicing regulations.
Maintain proper documentation to support all billing activities for audit and tax purposes.
3. Expense Capture & Cost Classification
Record project-related expenses promptly and accurately in the accounting system based on information provided by project teams.
Ensure proper classification of costs (e.g., direct project costs vs. overhead).
Maintain accurate and complete supporting documentation for all recorded expenses.
4. Audit Readiness & Documentation
Maintain organized records of signed acceptance documents alongside corresponding invoices for audit and tax inspection purposes.
Ensure all financial and expense documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with statutory and internal requirements.
5. Tax, Payroll & Compliance
Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, PIT, CIT, and FCT filings and payments.
Process payroll, including salary calculations, statutory deductions, and payments.
Manage employee claims and ensure accurate recording within payroll and accounting records.
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, including social insurance and audit support.
6. Planning, Systems & Stakeholder Management
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, contributing to financial planning and cost management.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
Utilize accounting systems (e.g., SAP, MISA, or other ERP platforms) for financial tracking and reporting.
7. Administrative Support
Perform machine translation of client contracts from English to Vietnamese, where required, as an administrative task.

What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or advisory environments in Vietnam.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnam tax regulations and statutory compliance (VAT, PIT, CIT, FCT, SI/HI/UI).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills in English and Vietnamese (both written and verbal).
- Collaborative mindset with strong execution capabilities.
