Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Sourcing & Category Management (MRO)

- Support development and execution of sourcing strategies for MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) supplies across breweries, ensuring alignment with global procurement frameworks and supplier portfolios.

- Support standardisation and demand consolidation initiatives to improve cost efficiency and sourcing effectiveness.

- Support contract execution (e.g., frame agreements, project-based contracts) in line with defined strategies and guidelines.

- Identify opportunities to consolidate demand to improve leverage and pricing.

- Ensure sourcing and buying activities follow Procurement Policy & MoA Contribute to category analysis by identifying demand patterns, cost drivers, and opportunities for optimization, and recommend sourcing approaches and prioritization based on insights.

2.Supplier Relationship & Performance Management:

- Support annual reviews of supplier portfolios with Project & Engineering teams to assess performance and identify risks.

- Participate in supplier meetings to support collaboration, share updates, and capture improvement opportunities (e.g., cost savings, efficiency).

- Monitor supplier performance and provide input on retention, development, or exit decisions based on data and risk insights.

- Identify and recommend performance improvement initiatives, including cost saving and efficiency opportunities.

- Support coordination of supplier governance routines (e.g., meeting schedules, tracking actions) and escalating issues where necessary.

3.Team Contribution & Development

- Contribute to a collaborative and learning-oriented team environment, supporting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

- Aligning with procurement priorities and sustainability goals, ensuring consistency with overall team objectives.

- Proactively build personal capabilities through training, coaching, and on-the-job learning.

- Support team activities and coordination as required, and provide input to improve ways of working.

4.Budgeting & Financial Stewardship:

- Support budget tracking and validation for MRO categories, including monitoring spend against plan and highlighting variances.

- Assist in preparing over-spend justifications with supporting data and insights.

- Provide input on cost-benefit considerations, balancing quality, delivery timelines, and financial impact.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are preferred
  • 3-5+ years of progressive experience in procurement and category management, including managing large-scale CAPEX projects and technical services.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems (SAP Ariba or similar) and data analytics tools.
  • Experience in FMCG or similar high-volume, asset-intensive industries (e.g., manufacturing, beverage, food) preferred
  • Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English
