Your role purpose
Overall responsibility for the direct revenue growth (new nominations and conversion of EU/US lead nomination), development, and maintenance of all Vietnam Brand and Retailer Local Offices, Garment Factories (T1s) Fabric Makers (T2s) and Spinners (T3s) working with our exclusive Sales Agent.
Your Essential Duties and Responsiblities
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Joint responsibility for the sales account strategy and management of EMEA and US brands, T1s, T2sand T3s to achieve and exceed, set Monthly and Annual profitable sales and gross margin targets in revenue, volume and product mix.
- Preparation and execution of long-term Customer contracts and agreements (Nominations) to establish Recover as a premium ingredient supplier to the brands, retailers, T1s, T2s and T3s.
- Demonstration and application of strong Commercial Excellence principles, to include:
Customer Relationship Management (Face-to-Face & Virtual)
Joint preparation and maintenance of Customer Strategic Account Plans
Customer Segmentation Strategy
Effective Pricing Strategy & Negotiation
Customer Reporting
- Act as the intermediatory between Brand HQ and Spinners, managing effective day-to-day internal liaison with Strategic Account Managers, to collaborate and maximise Sales conversion and ensuring on-going management of specification compliance.
- Support the Demand Planning department by providing accurate short-terms Customer annual and monthly forecasting. Active involvement in the preparation of the annual Commercial budget process.
- Internal Stakeholder Engagement, working closely with the following teams: Local & Global Customer Product Development (CPD), Technical and R&D, Operations, Sustainability and Marketing.
- Sharing best practices with colleagues, identify Competition strategies, help to identify industry trends through working with colleagues as one Commercial team.
Competencies required
- A proven successful track record in conceptual selling and negotiation with major Apparel Brands and Retailers.
- Sustainability Credentials: familiarity with the circular economy topic and considerations across different countries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to present at the most senior levels externally and internally.
- Self-driven, results oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
- A natural forward planner, who critically assesses her, or his own performance.
- Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing across various levels of contacts within business.
- Confidence to use initiative and make solid commercial decisions that will benefit Recover and the customer.
- Good attention to detail.
- Computer Literate, an ability to analyse and extract trends using data tools.
- Given the nature of the role, a flexible approach to working hours and travel is expected.
Work Experience
- A minimum of 5 years in a front facing role working with US and EMEA Global Apparel Brands and Retailers.
- An understanding of basic project management experience and skills.
