Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1.Business Procurement & Channel Development (70%)

Proactively develop, maintain, and manage strategic partnerships with major shipping lines and logistics suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and service quality.

Lead capacity procurement in the Vietnamese market, negotiating preferential contract rates and securing space guarantees.

Develop extensive local and international freight forwarding channels in Vietnam, establishing a stable partner network to expand cargo sources.

Collect and analyze shipping market trends, price fluctuations, and competitor intelligence to support corporate decision-making.

Regularly prepare procurement reports and business analyses for submission to China headquarters.

2.Operations & Administrative Management (30%)

Assist in managing the daily workflow of the Vietnam operations team, ensuring smooth, accurate, and efficient processes in booking, customs declaration, and documentation. Act as a key coordinator between business and operations.

Supervise and ensure the operational teams service quality meets company standards. Address major operational issues or customer complaints when necessary.

Oversee or assist in handling the branchs daily administrative tasks, including communications with local government agencies, law firms, and other external entities to ensure compliance.

Serve as a communication bridge between China headquarters and the Vietnam team, ensuring effective dissemination of instructions and fostering cultural integration.

Qualifications:

Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sales, or business cooperation at a shipping line or international freight forwarding company. Candidates with an established network of local shipping lines and peer resources in Vietnam are preferred. Familiarity with Vietnams logistics market environment, legal regulations, and business practices is highly preferred. Experience in operations or procurement for key trade lanes (e.g., Vietnam-China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and America) is a plus.

Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with partners from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken), capable of conducting seamless business communication. Basic proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage.

Management Abilities: Strong team coordination and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Education: Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in International Trade, Logistics Management, Business English, or a related field.

Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications.
