Our growing company is hiring an expert in UI/UX and front-end development to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of human-computer interaction design, as well as experience developing elegant solutions to improve applications. This role will work with designers to create interactive, coherent, and visually appealing interfaces. Success in the role will be demonstrated through improved ease of use of applications, as well as improved user experience scores.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct research to determine users&apos digital interactions and habits
- Develop UI/UX strategies based on the company&aposs needs, goals, and requirements
- Create and maintain digital assets, including interface design files, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Build and maintain reusable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
- Collaborate with designers to develop a seamless user interface
- Analyze current assets and identify areas for improvement
- Work with developers and designers to implement improvements in user systems
Education
- Bachelor&aposs degree in computer science or a related field
Required Skills And Experience
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development
- 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design or development
- Experience designing interfaces and creating clickable prototypes using tools such as Sketch and InVision
- Experience analyzing user behavior to improve user experiences
- Portfolio of past professional work that demonstrates proficiency in JavaScript and thorough understanding of design principles
- Thorough knowledge of CSS, CSS preprocessor tools, and extension languages such as Less or Sass
- Thorough knowledge of HTML5 best practices
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
