Position summary:
Asian Hustle Network (AHN) is a dynamic and rapidly growing community dedicated to empowering and supporting Asian entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives. Our mission is to provide a platform that connects, educates, and uplifts the Asian community globally. We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team and help bring our vision to life with an innovative, user-centric approach.
As a UI/UX Designer at Asian Hustle Network, you will be responsible for designing engaging, intuitive, and seamless user experiences across our web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create solutions that align with both our user needs and business goals. Your expertise in user-centered design will help enhance the digital experience of our vibrant and growing community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points
- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product design aligns with user needs and business goals
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies
- Ensure that designs are accessible and optimized for various devices and screen sizes
- Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset
- Use feedback and analytics to continuously iterate and improve the design
- Ready to learn and adapt to new technologies and knowledge
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
You must have the following:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing design work, including wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences
- Knowledge of design principles, interaction design, and information architecture
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Experience with user research and usability testing
- Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS) is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile development processes
- Experience designing for community-based platforms or social networks
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines on time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional working proficiency in English
