Job Summary:
As a Thermal Testing Engineer, you will develop thermal product testing processes, design and fabricate testing fixtures and jigs, validate testing systems, and manage testing procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of thermal products.
Work Location:
Lot CN2-4, Yen Phong IP (extension area), Yen Trung commune, Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province, Bac Ninh, Vietnam.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop thermal product testing processes, including design and fabricate testing fixtures and jigs.
2. Design and validate testing systems to meet customer project requirements, assemble test stations, install testing systems, and debug hardware and software.
3. Execute tests in accordance with specifications or test protocols, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and reliability.
4. Identify testing risks through PFMEA and continuously improve testing processes, standards, and procedures.
5. Analyze test data to identify potential manufacturing issues and implement improvements and preventive measures.
6. Perform root cause analysis for test failures and implement corrective actions to improve product pass rates.
7. Apply IE methods and tools to execute lean improvement projects, optimize testing processes, and eliminate waste to enhance production efficiency.
8. Manage Total Productive Maintenance /TPM for all testing equipment.
9. Build and develop a skilled testing technical team, providing training and facilitating skill enhancement.
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Familiarity with leak detection, thermal performance testing, and functional testing fixtures and systems for thermal industry products.
3. Proficiency in using SOLIDWORKS or PRO/E for designing thermal product performance testing fixtures and jigs, with the ability to independently design semi-automatic and automatic testing fixtures for complex thermal products.
4 Experience writing test programs and developing software UI interfaces using LabVIEW is preferred. Familiarity with PLC programming or upper computer systems is a plus.
5. Formal training in lean production or Six Sigma, with practical experience in lean manufacturing tools and methods. Experience in lean improvement projects is highly preferred.
6. Proficiency in engineering and office software, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
7. Fluency in written and spoken English.
8. Excellent cross-departmental communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive work attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to perform under pressure.
