Technical support engineer/manager for Pre-Sales activities and Post-Sales Services in Vietnam, reporting to head of technical support HQ .
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to plan and complete technical exchanges with Vietnamese customers, train clients, and propose detailed technical solutions.
- Deliver customer trainings both face-to-face and online; create and manage local technical documentation, establish a knowledge database, and represent Hoymiles at exhibitions in Vietnam.
- Analyze Vietnam-specific legal technical requirements and certification needs; coordinate with HQ to drive the execution of required certifications.
- Monitor the Vietnamese market environment and gather technology intelligence from competitors. Regularly analyze competitors products and features, and work closely with HQ to complete competitive analysis.
- Provide strong support to the sales team: visit clients and project sites, support system planning, guide PV system installations, and implement service strategies.
- Maintain high service levels and respond to service requests from local customers, with special focus on VIP accounts.
- Lead negotiations with local service partners, including third-party service companies.
- Follow up on the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process and ensure timely resolution.
Required Experience and Competence
- Based in Vietnam with a home office setup. Able to travel nationally as required by the business to ensure high service quality.
- Native-level Vietnamese and fluent English for business communication.
- Minimum of 3 years&apos work experience in the renewable energy industry, preferably in PV or energy storage.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.
- Self-motivated and proactive mindset: able to identify problems, analyze them logically, and provide multiple solution proposals.
- Open-minded and comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment.
