Due to business expansion, we are seeking a skilled GIS & Wind Energy Engineer to support the development, design, and implementation of wind farm projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, supporting technical designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting construction and commissioning activities. This role requires strong technical coordination skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and an in-depth understanding of engineering principles.

Role & Responsibilities

• Met mast and LiDAR design, installation, maintenance, and management.
• Detailed energy yield assessment, project specific loss and uncertainty calculations.
• Optimize wind farm layouts using wind resource analysis tools (e.g., WindPRO, WAsP, CFD tools).
• SCADA data analysis and performance assessment of operational wind farm.
• Coordinate with third-party consultants, contractors (EPC, TSI, TSA), and suppliers during project design and execution phases.
• Ensure technical compliance with local and international standards.
• Work closely with project engineers, project managers, environmental specialists, and finance teams to align engineering work with broader project goals.
• Communicate project updates and technical information to stakeholders.
• Support permitting processes by providing necessary technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and zoning regulations.
• Support provides technical oversight during the construction phase, including quality assurance and control.
• Support monitor and manage turbine installation, electrical infrastructure, and grid connection activities.
• Support commissioning, performance testing, and handover to operations teams.
• Manage and finalize contracts, NDAs, and payment processes within the ERP system efficiently.

Ideal candidate should possess:

• Minimum of 5 years experience with a proven track record of success.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly in presentation preparation.
• Hands-on experience with Windographer, Google Earth, of WindPRO, WAsP, CFD tools, QGIS, and Global Mapper, PowerBI, Python.
