Technical Director (Heavy Industry)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and build a strong safety culture.
• Manage daily operations of technical assets and infrastructure.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Monitor key performance indicators and drive process improvements.
• Develop and implement long-term asset management and maintenance plans.
• Manage budgets, contractors, vendors, spare parts, and technical reporting.
• Build and mentor a capable technical team, fostering collaboration and growth.
• Support the adoption of new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering.
• 57 years of managerial experience in maintenance, engineering, or technical operations.
• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and asset management practices.
• Familiar with HSE standards, quality management, and project management.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to build, motivate, and retain teams.
• Solid experience in cost control, budgeting, and vendor management.
• Good communication skills in English; proficient in MS Office and enterprise systems (ERP/CMMS).
