Job Description:
Supplier Strategy & Development
- Implement supplier management strategy for Strategic, Key, and New Suppliers in the Food & Nutrition sector, aligned with overall divisional goals.
- Identify growth opportunities with current suppliers and assess the potential of new suppliers relevant to the Food & Nutrition market.
- Contribute to the development and execution of supplier performance scorecards and satisfaction surveys to drive quality and excellence.
Data and Market Analysis
- Manage supplier performance tracking and segmentation, review service level proposals.
- Supervise competitor benchmarking and market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities.
- Review insights from supplier and market data for business expansion chances.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking, market mapping, and gap analysis to identify new suppliers, products, or technologies. Identify white spots and product gaps for new supplier/product development.
- Maximum the utilization of data sources - e.g. Mintel, Euromonitor.
Stakeholder collaboration
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Commercial, Marketing, QA, Logistics, Finance, Legal) and external partners (suppliers, key accounts) to align and drive strategic initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment across functions for strategic initiatives with suppliers (new & existing).
Legal Contract
- Support contract renewals and reviews with Legal and Compliance teams.
- Ensure all assigned suppliers have up-to-date contracts and maintain the contract database for risk monitoring of potential conflicts between new and existing.
Budget Management
- Plan, manage, and evaluate budgets for supplier management / development activities (e.g. events, innovation campaigns, sourcing trips, updating trends, enhancing collaboration with suppliers ), ensuring strategic alignment and ROI.
Team Development:
- Supervise and coach team members to build a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture.
- Propose development and succession plans for direct reports.
- Stay updated with emerging industry trends, technologies, innovations; participate in supplier-related events, conferences, exhibitions/tradeshows, net-working events.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or Master&aposs degree in Food technology or Food Biotecnology.
- At least 10 years in business mangagement, proven experience in supplier or customer relationship management in the Food & Nutrition or related industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good business acumen and understanding of industry trends.
- Capable of executing strategies and managing projects.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
