About Rize
Rize (rize.farm) is a leading Climate/fin-tech startup uniquely positioned to drive solutions that make rice cultivation more sustainable and improve farmer livelihoods in Asia. These sustainable solutions are urgently needed as rice cultivation is one of the largest polluting forms of agriculture globally (even worse than global aviation ) and rice is grown by some of the most climate-exposed smallholder farmer communities in Asia.. Formed through a joint venture between world-class investors: Temasek, Wavemaker Impact, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, and GenZero in 2023, Rize is the only independent platform focusing solely on the sustainable transition of rice cultivation and improving rice farmers economic livelihood.
Rizes technological platform captures vital agricultural data essential for implementing sustainable farming practices. These practices and solutions make rice farmers more climate-resilient, increase crop yields, lowers costs, and facilitates efficient access to financing solutions. Rize currently has operations in Indonesia and Vietnam and plans to expand further within the region. Rize has received substantial global media attention, acknowledging our efforts in this journey - please read more here: Bloomberg,Business Insider,DealStreetAsia.
About the role:
This is a full-time role as a Strategy and Partnerships Analyst in the Finance and Partnerships team at Rize. The Finance and Partnerships team plays an instrumental role to expand and improve the organization. We achieve this by working together with the rice value chain (e.g. with input and offtake providers, carbon offtakers and technology players, capital providers and consumer brands with sustainability mandate) to develop strategic relationships, create new business and innovation, and unlock new ways to help serve more farmers in their transition to sustainable rice cultivation. Our efforts also include constantly pushing to bring Rize to the forefront of climate-attention on the global level, through both branding exercises and external forums and events participation
The Analyst will be a critical member of the team where we do not work in a very hierarchical structure. This way you will get fast and invaluable experience and work directly on one of the most important climate challenges we face today and learn from and work with an experienced, motivated and diverse team from around the world.
