Sr Test Engineer

Essential Functions

• Involved in Planning, Developing, creation, review, execution of test cases and is responsible for applying business and functional knowledge.
• Execute functional, Integration and regression test cases.
• Review requirements and test cases as needed.
• Executes tests systematically to ensure software quality.
• Able to tweak test data in databases if required.
• Identify and record defects.
• Work with the development team to fix bugs.
• Collaborating with other stakeholders within the team including Development, QA, Business Users.
• Participates in peer reviews.
• Contributing to product innovation.
• Good to have Spotfire tool knowledge and automation testing
• Good to have prior experience in tools usage like Jira
  
  

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with software quality assurance and testing of applications. ETL testing.
• Experience on database testing, SQL queries is mandatory.
• Ability to test data from database to UI report is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Test Management Tools such as HP ALM is mandatory.
• In depth knowledge in software testing lifecycle is mandatory
• Able to work in Agile methodology.
