Job Description
- Participate in SAP implementation and support projects as a functional consultant for one or more modules, including FICO, MM, SD, PP, or QM.
- Work closely with clients to analyze business requirements and translate them into clear SAP functional specifications.
- Configure systems, conduct testing, and validate solutions in line with defined business processes and project scope.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.
- Prepare and maintain key project documentation such as business blueprints, functional design documents, test scripts, and user manuals.
- Deliver unit testing, integration testing, and user training to ensure solutions align with business needs.
- Provide post go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend system or process improvements.
- Maintain regular communication with Japanese-speaking and local stakeholders to report progress, clarify requirements, and align expectations.
- Continuously update knowledge of SAP best practices, new features, and relevant industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in SAP functional consulting within one of the following modules: FICO, MM, SD, PP, or QM.
- Solid understanding of business processes and SAP best practices.
- Proficiency in Japanese, with good communication skills in English.
- Experience working with Japanese clients.
- Strong problem-solving ability, logical thinking, and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to travel domestically or overseas for project assignments.
