Job Description

Overview:

This is a strategic regional leadership opportunity to drive business growth and market expansion across Asia. The Senior Sales Director will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and expanding our presence across key Asian markets.

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute the Asia growth strategy, aligned with Advanced Industrial Sensing (AIS) and Excelitas business objectives.
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue new market opportunities, strategic accounts, and emerging applications.
  • Lead, coach, and manage regional Asia Business Development Managers.
  • Build executive-level relationships with key customers, channel partners, government organizations, and industry stakeholders.
  • Drive pipeline creation, business development activities, and revenue growth across the region.
  • Assess market trends, competitive dynamics, customer needs, and investment opportunities to support long-term growth.
  • Improve market coverage, customer engagement, and channel effectiveness across Asia.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to align market opportunities with product roadmaps and growth initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor regional sales targets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Identify resource, investment, and capability requirements needed to accelerate growth and expand market share.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems, with the ability to drive disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking across the Asia sales organization.
  • Travel as required to meet business targets and objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant sales experience, including at least 5 years in a direct sales leadership role, with a demonstrable track record of achieving revenue and business growth across Asia.
  • Proven experience leading sales activities across multiple Asian markets, ideally including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and India.
  • Demonstrated track record of growing revenue, market share, and strategic customer accounts.
  • Experience developing and executing regional sales strategies, go-to-market plans, and annual sales targets aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Experience working closely with Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to address customer requirements and support business growth.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing regional sales teams, including setting targets, coaching, and performance management.
