Senior Procurement Specialist - Tuas

Location: Tuas, Singapore (on-site)

Job Overview:

• The incumbent will lead sourcing and purchasing for the new Singapore site, work closely with crossfunctional teams to help procure equipment, raw materials and indirect goods —supporting the project through construction into daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support endtoend purchasing activities: prepare RFQs/RFPs, collect and compare supplier quotations, and recommend suppliers for approval.
• Raise and track purchase orders (POs), follow up on delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of goods/services.
• Assist with tender documentation, basic contract administration and commercial change tracking under manager guidance.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams (engineering, logistics, finance, project team) to resolve daytoday procurement issues.
• Maintain supplier records, vendor evaluations and procurement database, support onboarding and qualification activities.
• Ensure procurement actions comply with internal policies and local regulations; maintain auditready documentation.
• Support customs/import coordination and logistics paperwork where is required.
• Produce regular procurement reports and help identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other Engineering fields.
• Minimum 5 years procurement experience, experience in materials or equipment procurement is preferred.
• Strong English and Chinese (Mandarin) communication skills — reading, writing and speaking.
• Strong attention to details, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good negotiation and supplierrelationship skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel and comfortable learning ERP / procurement systems.
