LOCATION: ONSITE OVERSEAS

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop web applications, APIs, and custom solutions, including both WordPress projects and standalone PHP-based applications.
Develop new features, optimize source code, and improve performance for PHP-based systems.
Build and maintain WordPress applications, including plugins, themes, and custom client solutions.
Integrate and develop APIs, third-party services, and other systems into the applications.
Develop and maintain databases, optimize SQL queries, and design efficient data storage systems.
Optimize user experience and frontend features (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) in PHP-based projects.
Collaborate closely with frontend, design, and product teams to implement technical requirements.
Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers within the team.
Ensure high-quality, maintainable code that follows software development standards.
Resolve issues related to system security, performance, and scalability.
Participate in requirement analysis, propose appropriate technical solutions, and optimize development processes.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
Have at least 45 years of experience in PHP development, including a minimum of 2 years working with WordPress (plugins, themes, custom post types, WP REST API, etc.).
Have a strong experience in developing Full-Stack web applications with PHP, with the ability to work independently on both backend and frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Be proficient in developing and optimizing APIs (RESTful, GraphQL).
Have experience working with popular PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc.).
Have experience with database management systems such as MySQL, MariaDB, and the ability to optimize SQL queries.
Be familiar with version control tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
Understand web security issues and protection techniques (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, etc.).
Have experience with performance optimization tools (caching, CDN, performance profiling, etc.)
Have experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); knowledge of JS frameworks like React.js or Vue.js is a plus.
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and container tools such as Docker is a plus.
Be able to work under pressure, have strong logical thinking, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Have good communication and teamwork skills.
