Main Duties:

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Marketplace to work closely with the Head of Marketplace as a key operator for our multi-vertical platform (Bike, Car, Delivery, Clean, Food, B2B).

Your mission is to support the Head of Marketplace in balancing supply and demand, optimizing burn (promos + incentives), and protecting unit economics and service quality (FR, ETA, SQI) across cities.

You will help run the daily marketplace cockpit, prepare materials and analyses for RBC (Revenue/Burn Council), and drive concrete improvement actions with Supply, Ops, Marketing and Product.

Responsibilities:

Marketplace Balance & Quality (Execution & Analysis)

  • Monitor FR%, ETA/p95 ETA, pickup distance, cancellations, and SQI by city vertical hour.
  • Build and maintain geo heatmaps and Top red cells lists for the Head of Marketplace.
  • Support diagnosis of issues and propose lever mixes (supply incentives, promos, pricing, routing/dispatch rules).

2. Burn, Pricing & Economics (Support)

  • Prepare and update burn dashboards: Promo% GMV, Incentive% GMV, burn per incremental order (B/IncO), CM1/CM1%.
  • Support scenario analysis for pricing & fee corridor changes by city vertical.
  • Track campaign economics and write post-mortems (what worked, what didn't, what we repeat or kill).

3. Governance & RBC Operations

  • Co-own the RBC operating rhythm with the Head of Marketplace:
  • Prepare weekly RBC packs (numbers, proposals, decision log).
  • Ensure all changes to promos, incentives, pricing, and key rules are recorded in the Decision Log.
  • Run D+1 marketplace cockpit: align Supply, Ops, Marketing and Product on today's hotspot actions.

4. Cross-Functional Execution

  • Work closely with Supply Manager on incentives/coverage and with Ops on execution in cities.
  • Work with Demand Lead (Marketplace) on in-app promos, exposure, and campaign performance.
  • Partner with BI & Product on dashboards, tracking, and rule changes (dispatch, stacking, scheduler)

What Success Looks Like

  • Head of Marketplace can rely on you for clear, actionable views on marketplace health every day.
  • Red cells (city vertical hour) are identified early, with structured action plans and follow-through.
  • RBC runs smoothly with good data, clean decision logs, and visible ROI from campaigns.
  • CM1% and SQI remain within guardrails while burn is deployed with discipline.

Requirements:

  • 48+ years in operations, strategy, analytics, pricing, revenue management, or marketplace roles.
  • Experience in ride-hailing, delivery, logistics, e-commerce or other marketplaces is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills (comfortable with Excel/Sheets; SQL/BI a plus).
  • Structured problem solver; can turn messy data into clear recommendations.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with Ops, Product, Marketing and Finance.
  • Bias to action: enjoys owning issues end-to-end, not just producing analysis.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous involvement with promos, incentives, or pricing.
  • Experience with dispatch, routing, or geo-based operations.
