Position: Logistics Supervisor
Location: Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, Bonded Warehouse, Binh Duong
Type: Onsite
Working hours: 8am-5pm Mon to Fri
Incorp&aposs client, a newly setup US company is seeking for a Logistics Supervisor. This role is managing inventory and logistics operations, responsible for supervising the receipt of product from the Contract Manufacturing partner, overseeing the Returned Material Authorization RMA process ( receipts, product repair, shipments back to customer) and coordinating outgoing shipments from the Bonded Warehouse. This position supports the company goals, processes, and QMS (Quality Management System), by being responsible for ensuring out-going products meet the companys and our Customers standards, requirements, and specifications.
Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Coordination: Planning, coordinating, and overseeing the movement of goods from the point of origin to the point of consumption.
Develop and execute plans for the efficient movement of goods, including transportation methods, routes, and schedules.
Work closely with the supply chain, customer service and demand planning teams to anticipate needs and potential issues.
Report delays, discrepancies or damages in shipments and work towards quick resolutions.
Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and reporting.
2. Order Management: Working with Companys Customer Service, Planning and Supply Chain teams along with the Contract Manufacturing partner team to process Company purchase orders and/or Customer sales orders, for on-time shipments per customer requirements.
Oversee the preparation of shipments according to order requirements.
3. RMA Management: Working with Companys Customer Service and Quality teams along with the Contract Manufacturing team to process product returns from customers and the ultimate return of repaired product back to those same customers.
Oversee the receipt of customer returned product and the preparation of shipments back to customers according to order requirements.
Accurately record received materials into and out of Contract Manufacturing partner updating the inventory management system as required.
4. Product Shipments: Oversee the preparation of shipments according to order and customer requirements.
Preparing bills-of-lading, and other required documentation, ensuring accurate documentation for shipments.
Ensuring proper packaging and labeling of products per customer requirements.
Utilize Customer portals such as MYLAM and PACT, as needed, to process shipments.
Coordinate with freight carriers and utilize UPS, FedEx, and other shipping platforms to arrange shipments.
Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs documentation as required.
Maintain shipping records and provide tracking details to relevant stakeholders.
5. Scheduling and Tracking: Scheduling pickups, deliveries, and shipments and tracking their progress.
Ensure efficient and timely transportation, delivery, warehousing, and inventory management including maintaining accurate inventory records.
Oversee shipments received from Contract Manufacturing partner into the Bonded Inventory Warehouse, verifying quantities and quality against packing lists.
Accurately record received materials into and out of the inventory management system.
Conduct regular inventory cycle counts of product on-hand, reconcile discrepancies and report results.
Monitor and measure OTD (On-Time Delivery) for FGI shipping to Customers.
6. Problem-Solving: Addressing issues such as shipment delays, damaged goods, or scheduling conflicts.
7. Communication: Communicate with various stakeholders, including Customers, carriers, and internal teams, to ensure smooth operations.
Function as a liaison between supplier sites and Company, providing regular updates on inventory, shipments, and operational needs.
Effective communication and coordination skills are essential to maintain seamless operations since this position is based outside the Company&aposs primary location, .
8. Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, manage warehouse operations, and ensure adequate stock to meet demand.
Manage the FGI consignment process and ensure the bin levels at the customer site follow the set min-max bins.
9. Cost Management: Monitor transportation costs, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and ensure efficient use of resources.
10. Compliance: Ensure products adhere to Company specifications, standards, and requirements prior to shipment to Customers.
Adhere to regulatory guidelines and safety standards for product dispatch.
Requirement:
Experience in material handling, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
Proficiency with shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, etc.) and inventory management systems.
Experience with international shipping and customs processes is a plus.
Effectively communicate in both English and Vietnamese (Reading, Writing and Verbally).
Basic proficiency with the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System (Syspro) is preferred.
