Job Description:
Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate logistics and transportation suppliers.
- Prepare and manage RFP/RFQ processes, analyze proposals, and support supplier selection.
- Analyze procurement and logistics cost data to support sourcing strategies and decision-making.
- Support or lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions with suppliers.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Maintain strong working relationships with logistics vendors (3PLs, transportation providers, and service partners).
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Legal, etc.) to ensure sourcing activities align with operational needs.
- Track market trends, new suppliers, and logistics technologies to improve sourcing strategies.
- Participate in cost optimization initiatives and supply chain risk management.
Leasing Support
- Support leasing activities for logistics hubs/warehouses when required, including coordination with landlords and contract follow-up.
- Assist with the transition from contract execution to site handover and operational readiness.
Process & Compliance
- Ensure sourcing activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate supplier, contract, and procurement documentation and databases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Foreign Trade, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement/sourcing for Associate level and at least 4 years for Senior Associate level experience in logistics, transportation sourcing, or leasing is a plus.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills, with the ability to review and understand contracts.
- Good research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new topics.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
- Open-minded, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
