1. Job PurposeTo ensure that the Companys business, commercial, and management activities comply with Vietnamese and international laws; to advise the Board of Directors in preventing and handling legal risks and disputes; and to support negotiation, execution, and performance of contracts.
2. Key Responsibilities- Provide legal advice to the Board of Directors and departments on matters relating to commercial law, civil law, corporate law, labor law, investment law, and other applicable regulations.
- Draft, review, and evaluate contracts and legal documents to safeguard the Companys interests.
- Handle and represent the Company in disputes at the Peoples Courts of Vietnam, and support proceedings at arbitration centers such as VIAC (Vietnam International Arbitration Centre) and SIAC (Singapore International Arbitration Centre).
- Act as the Companys representative in dealings with government authorities, organizations, and partners on legal matters.
- Monitor and update changes in the legal system and propose adjustments to internal policies accordingly.
- Participate in commercial negotiations, offering legal solutions to minimize risks in international business activities.
- Develop, guide, and provide training on legal and compliance processes for internal stakeholders.
3. Job Requirements- Education: Bachelors degree in Law (preferably with specialization in Commercial Law, Civil Law, or International Law).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in legal practice, with direct exposure to commercial law, litigation at the Peoples Courts, and solid knowledge of procedures at VIAC and SIAC.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and legal reasoning skills.
- Proficient negotiation, mediation, and dispute resolution skills.
- Excellent drafting and legal writing skills.
- Legal English proficiency is an advantage.
