Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior HR General Specialist based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Senior HR General Specialist will manage day-to-day human resource functions, including implementing and maintaining HR policies, overseeing employee benefits, managing personnel issues, and supporting overall HR management. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with local labor laws, addressing staff inquiries, and contributing to the development of a positive workplace culture.

Job Description

HR Administration

• Establish, manage, and update employee records (both hard copies and digital files) in compliance with company regulations; prepare periodic HR reports as required by government authorities;
• Design, develop, and effectively manage employee databases; regularly update and report data as requested by the Board of Directors (BOD);
• Draft, store, and manage HR documents, including labor contracts, contract terminations, and internal announcements;
• Coordinate onboarding processes and support the STA team in guiding new employees to integrate into the company culture;
• Manage and handle company-wide facilities and assets, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure proper maintenance and usage;
• Perform other HR administrative tasks as assigned by the BOD.

Compensation & Benefits (C&B)

• Organize, maintain, and update records related to payroll, disciplinary actions, promotions, salary adjustments, employee offboarding, and other compensation-related matters; coordinate and monitor employee benefit policies;
• Track and update social insurance (SI), unemployment insurance (UI), and health insurance (HI) data; reconcile monthly reports with social insurance authorities; handle procedures and documentation for employees participation and entitlement to insurance benefits in accordance with regulations;
• Support the implementation of payroll, bonuses, and other benefits, and provide appropriate recommendations to the BOD;
• Address employee inquiries and complaints related to compensation and benefits;
• Handle personal income tax (PIT)–related tasks;
• Update regulations on compensation, benefits, and policies to ensure compliance with current labor laws;
• Monitor and update government regulations related to personal income tax.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Economics, English, or related fields;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position, with the ability to work independently as an HR Generalist;
• Strong knowledge of Labor Law, Social Insurance Law, and Personal Income Tax regulations;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and social insurance declaration systems;
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and high sense of responsibility;
• Good communication skills and ability to write emails in English.
