1. Accounting Operations & Systems (Priority: Ensure accuracy and process control)

• Oversee the full accounting cycle: ensure AP (vendor invoices, payments, reconciliations) and AR (invoicing, collections, aging analysis) are processed accurately, completely, and on time.
• Control and reconcile raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory across the accounting and operational systems; lead periodic stock counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Record and allocate direct labor, production overheads, and product costing, ensuring accurate cost of manufactured goods.
• Administer and reconcile fixed assets: acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, and disposals in compliance with VAS and company policy.
• Calculate, validate, and record sales commissions, payroll entries, and staff-related provisions in alignment with internal policies.
• Ensure accounting systems (ERP/finance software) are correctly implemented, configured, and fully utilized; troubleshoot errors, maintain system integrity, and improve automation.
• Supervise junior accountants: review postings, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

2. Tax & Compliance (Priority: Regulatory accuracy and timeliness)

• Prepare, reconcile, and file VAT, CIT, FCT, and other statutory tax reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission in line with Vietnamese regulations.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for all financial transactions, tax filings, and statutory obligations; liaise directly with auditors, inspectors, and tax authorities.
• Record and monitor pre-accrued expenses, allocate tools and equipment, and ensure compliance with VAS and IFRS (if applicable).
• Implement and monitor internal controls across financial processes to prevent errors, misstatements, and non-compliance.

3. Reporting & Analysis (Priority: Delivering management visibility)

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with VAS; support consolidation or IFRS reporting where required.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing: reconcile accounts, recognize revenue, accrue expenses, and finalize profit/loss calculations.
• Develop and deliver management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, variance and margin analysis) to support decision-making.
• Reconcile and validate general ledger and sub-ledger balances, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.

Skills / Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA preferred.5+ years’ experience in full-cycle accounting; background in e-commerce, manufacturing, or auditing firms is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of VAS and exposure to IFRS.
• Proficient in accounting systems (MISA/AMIS), ERP, and advanced Excel.
• Skilled in AP/AR, inventory, fixed assets, cost allocation, and tax reporting.
• Good English communication (written & verbal).
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and reliable under pressure.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
