Senior Communications Specialist:
Job Description
1. Key Responsibilities
- External Communications
- Develop and implement external communications plans to increase LPBank&aposs brand recognition in the market.
- Write and edit press releases, PR articles, interviews, content posted on mass media channels, social networks and websites.
- Preside over organizing press conferences, media events with partners, customers, investors.
- Be the focal point for working and building relationships with the press and television system, ensuring that LPBank&aposs image is always reflected positively.
- Internal Communications
- Develop quarterly/annual internal communications plans.
- Edit and publish internal publications (newsletters, internal videos, electronic bulletin boards).
- Deploy employee engagement programs, internal competitions, corporate culture communication, and organizational development strategies to staff.
- Work with specialized departments/offices to exploit operational information and effectively communicate internally.
- Participate in handling media crises
- Coordinate with the Legal Department, the Board of Directors and related units to develop scenarios and prepare press/media response content in crisis situations.
- Monitor online media channels (social networks, forums, electronic newspapers) to detect early signs of risks.
- Propose appropriate media handling measures according to each level of crisis.
- Build press relations
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with reporters, editors, and leaders of major domestic and foreign press agencies.
- Organize regular press meetings and gratitude events.
- Participate in sponsorship & social security activities
- Participate in developing communication strategies for CSR (corporate social responsibility) programs.
- Coordinate with sponsors, press, and local organizations to communicate sponsorship and volunteer activities.
- Write articles and reports on social security programs organized, sponsored, or accompanied by LPBank.
- Ensure CSR communication contributes to enhancing the value, reputation, and brand image of the bank.
2. Deliverables
- Year/quarter/month communication plan.
- Communication documents: press releases, PR articles, internal articles, press conference scripts, website/social content.
- Report on the effectiveness of communication for each campaign (according to set KPIs).
- Communication profiles for social security and CSR programs.
- List of reporters in charge of each content group (economics, finance, banking, etc.).
- Draft crisis response content when incidents arise.
Job requirements
Degree: University degree or higher in: Journalism, Communications, PR, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fields.
Professional experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the communications field, of which at least 1-2 years in a similar position.
- Experience working with the press, handling crisis communications, organizing communications events.
- Priority is given to candidates who have worked in the finance - banking sector, or at large media agencies.
Other skills and requirements:
- Good writing skills (press articles, internal communications, press releases, etc.).
- Communication skills, building and maintaining press relations.
- Have strategic thinking, creativity, and sensitivity to information and public opinion.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively in groups.
- Withstand high pressure in crisis situations.
