Key responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst, you will be in charge of the following:
- Writing the customer proposals
- Understanding the clients business needs, capturing the domain expertise that the client has, and translating this accurately into succinct requirements documentation
- At every stage of the Business Analysis process, you must try to understand the needs of the project stakeholders and work accordingly to satisfy them with appropriate solutions
- Interviewing the domain experts at the client company to capture all relevant domain knowledge
- The project stakeholders might get confused if the business analyst uses complex technical language to explain things. So, the challenge is to simplify things for a better understanding and interpretation of the client&aposs requirements
- Involved in the blueprinting process and documentation of the clients business requirements in detail (using user stories) with all assumptions and caveats included
- Defining quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements
- Participating in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents. Participating in peer reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly
- Serving as an internal point of contact for the Development team whenever requirements need to be clarified
- Assisting the sales team on pre-sales opportunities by participating in pre-sales meetings and analyzing RFP documentation.
Job requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Prior experience in E-commerce, CRM, marketing, ERP products
- Knowledge of agile software development process
- Excellent command of English communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing). Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Good listening and interviewing skills to understand a customers business environment and processes
- Proven ability to document business requirements in an accurate, unambiguous, and succinct fashion
- Exceptional presentation and client relation skills
- Excellent organizational,and analytical skills
- Aptitude to learn and understand new and emerging technologies
- Ability to work with minimal direction on multiple projects
- Thorough, paying attention to details.
