Job Description

I. JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible to the Marketing Director of the Product Category for managing short-term and long-term marketing activities of the assigned product group. This includes building consumer preference, planning, developing, and executing brand marketing strategies aligned with the companys overall business objectives, based on continuous analysis and evaluation of the brand, market, and consumer insights.

  • Develop annual activity plans, budget plans, and staffing plans for the assigned brands.
  • Propose short-term and long-term marketing strategies for the product category in alignment with the companys overall business strategy.
  • Propose and collaborate with the Marketing Director to build and develop brand structure strategies, brand positioning, and research & development of new products and packaging to serve the business goals of the category.
  • Develop and implement mass media advertising programs that are appropriate and effective in achieving the set marketing strategy objectives.
  • Organize implementation and evaluate the results of annual marketing programs for each brand under management; ensure alignment with the overall development strategy and achievement of category goals.
  • Monitor sales performance and forecast product volume to propose timely support in managing shared resources, raw materials, etc., serving the overall business situation of the brand.
  • Allocate and manage the category and brand budget efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage advertising agencies and suppliers to ensure results meet commitments and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with departments and play a supervisory role in executing marketing programs.
  • Manage, evaluate, train, and develop staff to meet objectives in each period.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by superiors (Executive Director).

II. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION & MAJOR:

  • Bachelors degree from a recognized university.
  • Preferably in Economics, Business Administration, or Marketing.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 610 years of experience in Marketing in multinational companies or large-scale companies in dairy, food, or FMCG industries, including 23 years in a similar position.
  • Experience in developing marketing strategies, plans, and brand management.
  • Experience in managing teams to execute brand development projects and marketing activities: ATL communication programs and BTL brand activation programs (new product development, market research, advertising, promotions, etc.).

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Broad understanding of the product category and food/FMCG brands.
  • Proficient in brand marketing knowledge and skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Capable of planning, executing, delegating tasks, and effective control.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to develop and train subordinates.
  • Creative and continuously improving work processes.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills for internal and external relations to achieve optimal work efficiency.
