The Research Associate will be responsible for
analyzing operational and internal data on a daily basis to uncover insights that improve our logistics network and the satisfaction of sellers, riders, and drivers. This role combines operational data analysis with market/user research to directly support decision-making in logistics and operations.
Job Description
- Manage research requests from internal teams, with a focus on logistics-related topics: taking briefs, clarifying objectives, designing research, managing fieldwork, delivering reports (qualitative/quantitative) & other administrative.
- Conduct desk research for competitor/market intelligence on logistics models, service levels, pricing, rider operations.
- Create methods to collect and analyze internal (operational data) and external market data, track and monitor performance to derive business insight.
- Monitor and analyze social listening data (social media, forums, communities) to capture rider, driver, and seller sentiment; integrate findings with internal data to provide a fuller view of operational challenges.
- Analyze the performance and liaise with leads to collect feedback and identify potential levers to improve, especially those can improve seller/ rider/ driver satisfaction
- Liaise with stakeholders to collect feedback, pain point and identify improvement levers, especially those impacting seller, rider, and driver experience.
- Provide strategic and clear direction to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and coordination across multiple teams (internal, external teams & partners) to ensure key objectives are aligned across the organization
- Manage and track budgets and resources to ensure efforts comply with project/study guidelines
- Other tasks are assigned by the Company from time to time.
Requirements
- BA / BS/ Bachelors Degree
- At least 4 years of work experience in Market Research, Consulting, or Marketing field (having working experience for companies managing large Riders/ Drivers community such as Grab/ Be/ competitors in logistics is a plus)
- Strong business acumen with sharp logical thinking and a solid quantitative mindset must be able to translate messy operational data into clear, actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Excel (functions, pivot, advanced formulas) and Power Query for data cleaning, processing, and analysis; these will be your daily tools.
- Extremely detail-oriented and disciplined when working with data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and credibility of all research outputs.
- Excellent command of English with strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Highly meticulous and organized; able to coordinate across multiple teams and work under high pressure.
