Purpose Of Job
Backup for maternity leave with a 9-month contract.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting for management and statutory purposes while maintaining a system of robust internal controls for ADM.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a full set of financial records for multiple entities, including balance sheet reconciliations, in compliance with local accounting standards and US GAAP.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to ADM policies and procedures;
- Data entry management using Microsoft Dynamics NAV and support for new implementation of accounting systems where applicable.
- Support Finance Manager for monthly closing activities for ADM Vietnam, including preparationting of of entries, reconciliation of accounts, etc.;
- Independently manage month-end closing activities, including preparation/posting of entries and reconciliation of accounts, as well as reviewing of work performed by other team members for smaller entities.
- Support accounts payable / receivable functions and review of work performed by other team members for smaller entities;
- Assist in accurate and timely filing of statutory accounts and tax filing, including VAT and WHT; and responsible for accurate and timely statutory and tax filings for smaller entities.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to address issues/concerns
- Assist in facilitating audits and tax filings.
- Other ad-hoc activities, as required
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, including at least 2 years in general accounting or tax accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS); familiarity with US GAAP is a plus.
- Experience in preparing monthly tax and financial reports; a Tax Agent Certificate is preferable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reporting). Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or other ERP systems; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent preferred), capable of daily interaction with regional/global stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage deadlines independently
