RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and control daily accounting activities, including general ledger, reconciliations, month-end closing, financial statement consolidation, cash management, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Maintain the accounting system by coding and posting accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, bank transactions, invoices, and related expenses, ensuring accurate and reliable financial records.
- Prepare accounting reports, including monthly tax declarations, fixed asset and depreciation reports, inter-company accounts, cash flow, financial statements, forecasts, and analyses for management, auditors, financial institutions, and the Board of Directors.
- Support year-end audits and reconcile bank reports.
- Collect and verify invoices against purchase orders and prepare reports for review and approval by the Finance Director or Managing Director.
- Review expenses, recommend reimbursements, and question expenses that do not comply with purchase order procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree qualified in finance or accounting.
COMPETENCIES:
- Minimum of 3 year's experience in a similar position in a multinational organisation.
- Good working knowledge of taxation and business compliance regulations.
- Excellent working knowledge of accounting software including data entry, reporting and analysis tools.
