Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development
- Utilize ABAP programming to extend and customize standard SAP functionalities (user exits, enhancements, BAdIs, etc.).
- Design and implement custom developments including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
- Apply best practices in solution architecture and programming to ensure scalability and maintainability.
Integration & Connectivity
- Develop and maintain BAPIs, RFCs, and SOAP/REST APIs to enable seamless data exchange.
- Configure and support EDI/IDoc interfaces for robust communication between SAP and external systems.
- Collaborate with integration teams to align SAP developments with corporate integration standards.
Application Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the full development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and support.
- Ensure compliance with development guidelines and change management processes.
- Partner with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, requirement-driven solutions.
Knowledge of SAP BTP (Optional)
- Familiar with core SAP BTP services (Fiori, CAP, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP HANA).
- Contribute to solution design discussions involving BTP components.
- Stay updated on BTP evolution to support the company's future roadmap.
Technical Documentation & Support
- Create and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and test cases.
- Provide post-go-live support, including incident resolution and performance optimization.
- Share expertise and mentor the internal SAP team to strengthen long-term capability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5 years) as a SAP Developer or similar role, with expertise in ABAP programming.
- Strong proficiency in ABAP development, including ABAP Objects, ABAP Data Dictionary, and ABAP Web Dynpro.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services and technologies, such as SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, and SAP HANA.
- Valuable knowledge with SAP BTP development tools, such as SAP Business Application Studio and SAP Web IDE.
- Knowledge of integration technologies and protocols, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, and OData.
