The ideal candidate will handle the account development and penetration strategy for assigned customers or regions. They should be skilled at building and maintaining relationships with clients and work to provide exceptional customer service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Directly carry out customer acquisition and development of new clients according to the department's business plan, including international freight forwarding services by sea, land, air, rail, door-to-door delivery services, and international liner agency sales and marketing
- Clearly understand assigned targets and ensure their fulfillment
- Negotiate with customers and partners on pricing and service contract terms within the scope of approved authority
- Proactively calculate cost-effectiveness; determine purchase and selling prices for each specific shipment (within authorized scope) in alignment with the company's permitted business functions. Coordinate with other departments to carry out customer care activities (both during and after the sales process).
- Work with the documentation department and the finance & accounting department to promptly and efficiently handle customer requests and complaints
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position in a Liner or FWD company
- Good communication in English
- College degree or higher in Economics, with knowledge in Logistics
