Role Overview
The Sales Manager will lead business development and sales operations in Vietnam, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening key customer relationships. This role plays a critical part in translating regional and global strategies into local execution while ensuring alignment with Ensign's service standards and long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, manage, and develop the local sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Define and execute market-specific sales strategies aligned with regional and global objectives
- Drive new business development across air freight, sea freight, and integrated logistics solutions
Customer & Market Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, strategic customers, and partners
- Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive positioning within Vietnam
- Support cross-border and regional business development initiatives
Team Development & Performance
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to sales team members
- Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and drive a results-oriented sales culture
- Support talent development and succession planning within the sales function
Data, Reporting & Collaboration
- Analyze sales data, pipelines, and market insights to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare forecasts, performance reports, and management presentations
- Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Marketing to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction
Risk, Escalation & Execution
- Handle customer escalations and complex commercial negotiations
- Operate effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining service quality and accountability
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experiencein freight forwarding or the logistics industry
- Proven track record in sales leadership, revenue growth, and key account management
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management capabilities
- Strong business acumen with data analysis and strategic thinking skills
- Results-driven, resilient, and able to problem-solve in dynamic environments
- Experience in air and sea freight sales is highly preferred
