Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to drive business growth in the assigned region. The candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market development and new customer acquisition: Identify, approach, and build relationships with potential clients in the Southern region;
  • Consultative sales: Understand customer needs and provide tailored recommendations for Ansys simulation software solutions. Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and negotiate to achieve quarterly sales targets (KPIs);
  • Account management: Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with existing customers. Provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product usage;
  • Sales planning and execution: Develop detailed sales plans for the assigned territory, including revenue goals, customer engagement strategies, and specific sales activities;
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the Technical and Marketing Departments to deliver optimal solutions, address customer needs, and resolve technical issues;
  • Performance tracking and reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyze revenue data, and prepare regular business reports with actionable insights and improvement recommendations;
  • Marketing and event participation: Support and actively participate in company-hosted events, webinars, and exhibitions to promote solutions and expand customer networks;

Experience

  • 2 - 3 years in a similar position, preferably with prior experience in selling software or technical solutions.

Technical & Business Skills

  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills;
  • Passionate for technology, particularly in areas such as electronics, semiconductors, mechanical engineering, automotive, or defense;
  • Strong ability to work independently with effective time and task management;
  • Capable of conducting business analysis, developing sales plans, and driving strategic initiatives;
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel when required.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in selling engineering / technical / software solutions will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).
  • Strong networking abilities with industry contacts.
