As the Sales Engineer, Vietnam, you will be responsible for the technical side of the sales cycle, from discovery and solution design to demos and proposal input. You will also research, create, and deliver technical product training designs that provide the essential skills for partners and customers to successfully implement Axis video surveillance solutions.
This role is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with travel for regional and international visits.
What you will do:
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert throughout the sales cycle, including delivering solution demonstrations to customers.
- Keep distributors and resellers informed and provide timely updates on technical pre-sales topics.
- Partner with internal Sales team as the technical expert, helping develop and present strategic sales proposals.
- Collaborate with integrators and software partners to drive successful projects.
- Create clear, high-quality pre-sales materials and technical documentation.
- Plan and deliver monthly technical training for partners and resellers.
- Identify new business opportunities in the sales cycle and provide technical input to proposals.
- Act as a trusted technical consultant to recommend the best-fit solution.
- Help coordinate technical resources across the region.
- Support other duties as needed.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales or technical solution sales in CCTV or IP surveillance.
- Strong hands-on IT exposure across networking and IP-based technologies, with solid working knowledge of network infrastructure, VMS software, and video surveillance hardware.
- Relevant certifications (for example, Cisco, Nortel Networks, Microsoft) with CCTV-specific technical experience is a plus.
