YOUR TASKS
The QMP Engineering role focuses on engineering-related quality activities, with a strong emphasis on software and system development, and additional involvement in hardware and cybersecurity topics when required. The role actively supports Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) activities and acts as a quality expert closely integrated with engineering execution.
Your Responsibilities
- Define and deploy quality strategies for product development and process planning, considering customer quality requirement, standard processes, methods, and standards.
- Ensure the consistent application of defined processes, methods, and tools in product development; define and monitor quality targets together with the project team.
- Conduct process reviews and work product reviews to ensure compliance with company standards, templates, and guidelines.
- Prepare and present quality status reports for supported projects, providing transparent quality risk to relevant management levels.
- Escalate critical product quality issues that cannot be resolved within the project team, in accordance with the defined escalation process.
- Play the main coordinator in ASPICE assessments and IATF system audit
- Define and support project-specific process improvements in software development to address new customer requirements and ensure continuous improvement.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- More than 3 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
- Experience with Automotive SPICE / CMMI, V-Model, Agile, Scale Agile, software quality processes, project management, and risk management.
- Solid understanding of system and software development processes.
- Practical experience with software quality tasks, activities, methods, and tools.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Automotive experience is an advantage, particularly in functional systems, functional safety (ISO 26262), hardware, and cybersecurity (ISO 21434)
- Experience with automotive software tools such as IBM DOORS, Rhapsody, ALM and PTC is an advantage
- Proficient in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to support engineering, quality analysis, and productivity improvement.
