Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality Management function at the manufacturing site. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with international standards, driving supplier quality excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the plant. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting sustainable growth and ensuring defect-free products that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
ISO Implementation & Compliance
Lead the implementation, certification, and ongoing improvement of international standards, including but not limited to:
o ISO 9001 (Quality Management System)
o ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
o ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management)
o ISO 13485 (for medical-related plastic components)
o IATF 16949 (for automotive plastic/electronic parts)
o ISO/IEC 17025 (Testing & Calibration, if relevant to in-house lab scope)
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
Maintain an effective system for document control and quality reporting.
Supplier Quality Management
Lead the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) function.
Oversee supplier qualification, process audits, and ongoing performance monitoring.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and continuous improvement.
Auditing & Compliance
Plan, execute, and report on internal audits across the site.
Coordinate external audits (customer, certification body, regulatory).
Ensure timely closure of audit findings and preventive/corrective actions.
Team Leadership & Culture Building
Build, mentor, and lead the quality team.
Promote a strong quality culture throughout the plant, ensuring all employees understand and adhere to quality standards.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, etc.) to drive quality initiatives.
Lead problem-solving activities using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, RCA).

Requirements
Proven track record in quality management within a manufacturing environment (plastics, electronics assembly, or final product testing).
High level of problem solving competencies proven by education (8D, 5Why, SixSigma and similar) and practical experience
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and international standards.
Solid experience in supplier quality management and auditing.
Hands-on experience in implementing and achieving ISO certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, etc.) is a strong advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
Willingness to travel frequently for supplier audits.
High level of honesty, integrity, and professional ethics.
