Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

Our client one of the leading suppliers of canned and frozen products in EU is seeking a QA Specialist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, focusing on managing the quality of imported and exported products.

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage the quality of imported and exported products to meet company and regulatory standards.

2. Conduct inspections at factories and at the office in Ho Chi Minh City; prepare and submit detailed inspection reports.

3. Create and maintain accurate product specifications in both documentation and system databases.

4. Manage supplier certifications, provide support as needed, and coordinate data exchange with QA/CR departments.

5. Investigate quality issues and work with relevant parties to implement effective solutions; handling claims and complaints.

6. Assist auditors during factory audits and support audit preparation activities.

7. Evaluate new suppliers in terms of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Social Responsibility

compliance; provide training to help them achieve certification.

8. Track and assess supplier performance with a focus on quality metrics; provide regular feedback and improvement plans.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or QMS in seafood/frozen food/canned food

- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Food Technology, Quality Management, or related

disciplines.

- Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including HACCP, IFS, BRC, and FSSC 22000.

- Familiarity with social responsibility standards such as SA8000, SMETA, or SEDEX is a strong advantage.

- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications.

- Able to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure.

- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50% of working time.

- High attention to detail, with strong logical thinking, analytical ability, and critical thinking skills.
